Course Details

Non-Destructive Testing is also known as NDT. Additionally, nondestructive testing (NDT) refers to procedures for inspecting or testing a system’s materials, components, or equipment to determine their characteristics, quality, or flaws.

NDT techniques are utilized in a wide range of sectors, including oil and gas, automobile, nuclear, medical, aerospace, and so on. NDT can also be used in manufacturing and maintenance.
There are seven common NDT techniques:

  • Radiographic Testing (RT)
  • Liquid Penetrant Testing (LPT)
  • Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT)
  • Visual Testing (VT)
  • Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
  • Radiographic Film Interpretation (RTFI)
